Warning lamps bulbs : remove and test

A common issue is the coolant level lamp failure. Before testing the sensor or the amplifier, check the bulbs.

0-Remove the central wood panel

Check here for how to proceed.

1-Locate the warning lights box and unscrew the two securing screws

Tools: Flat screwdriver

2-Gently pull off the warning lights box

3-Mark the wiring and remove the bulbs by simply sliding them off

If not sure, have a look at the wiring diagram

4-Perform a warning lights test and swap the bulbs

Test is usually performed by selecting R at the gear selector and turning the key as if to crank the engine. In normal conditions every warning light should lit. NOTE. On my car anyway, the coolant level warning light is NOT part of the test.
