Liquid / Oil Levels Quick Reference
HB means Handbook (1975 reprint)
GEARBOX (HB p79)
- Quantity : 13.6 litres.
- Run engine for at least 3 to 4 minutes
- Drive car back and forth on short distance several times or go for a short drive
- While in Neutral (N) position + Park Break
- Dipstick and refill is blue and can be seen on right hand side of the engine close to bulkhead
- While engine is running check level and refill if necessary

HYDRAULIC LIQUID (HB p93)
- Run engine for at least 3 minutes
- Use sight glasses on side of the reservoirs
- Refill absolutely clean (sealed) liquid

ENGINE OIL (HB p61)
- Quantity : 7 to 8 litres.
- Cold engine because oil must be at rest in the sump
- For quick check press fuel / oil level indicator switch located under ammeter and look at fuel gauge
- Or use engine dipstick (marked "engine")
- Engine oil filler cap is marked "Important, oil filter etc."

COOLING LIQUID (HB p66)
- Quantity : 16 litres.
- Cold engine because circuit is HOT and under pressure while engine is running
- Open carefully radiator filler cap if engine hot
- How To Check Level
POWER STEERING LIQUID (HB p58 and 94)
- Quantity : 1.7 litres.
- Not specified if cold or hot engine
- If an appreicable amount of fluid is necessary, a leak should be suspected
