Quick Valve for Engine Sump

RR forum reports that investing in a Quick Valve makes the sump drain easier.
Here is the information I got from the Quick Valve Website :
This (SS1) engine has an 1"-16 UNS thread on its oil drain hole.
Although Fumoto do not make oil drain valves with this particular thread size, there are reports in some Rolls Royce enthusiasts' forums that FG5 valves with M25-1.5 threads fit well since the threads are nearly identical and the alloy threads in the sump are usually slightly worn after the passage of time.
