Refurbishing of the steering pump radiator

Here is a picture of the original steering pump radiator, sitting on top of the AC condenser. It is attached to the steering pump by two metal pipes joined by two hard rubber hoses.
As you can see the condition asks for a maintenance : it is rusted on on side and greasy on the other.

Removing the radiator is easy  : just use a 11mm / 1/18 in. tube socket and remove the two setscrews at the rear of the radiator.

Then you have to remove the two hard rubber pipes by  releasing  four jubilee clips using a screwdriver.

Once the clips are completely freed, push them aside on the pipe and begin to gently twist the two hard rubber hoses in order to release the radiator itself. Be careful not to foul the metal pipes.

Expect a little of the steering liquid to drop once the radiator is released.
